Gamescom Preview: Star Wars The Old Republic

Hey guys, got some more news from Gamescom today. I've got a couple of really awesome videos to share with you from Total Biscuit again. This time he talks to a developer from Bioware about the upcoming MMO Star Wars The Old Republic. Oh yeah, did I mention there's some gameplay involved? Enjoy.

Personally I'm really looking forward to this game. I was a WoW player for years since Vanilla. I loved BC, but once WotLK hit I sorta lost the fire. Surprisingly the expansion with the most fire killed my flame, Cataclysm haha. Anyways, this game is extremely similar to WoW as you can probably see. The main difference being Star Wars (I LOVE Star Wars). I am approaching this game with trepidation though. Being that it's so similar to WoW, it might not catch my interest as much as I would like. On the other hand, I may like it more because it's so simple to understand. The familiarity with WoW will really help. We wont know for sure till the game is released, but I will say that from looking at it now, I'm impressed.
